Margaret Thornhill teaches exceptional students
privately in Los Angeles and Pasadena.
Among her advanced students are conservatory graduates, music educators,
adult amateurs and young artists.
Combining a sensitive awareness of human nature, deep technical knowledge, and broad experience with the clarinet literature, Margaret Thornhill is the ideal teacher for conservatory bound high school students,
young professionals eager to bring their playing to a higher artisitic level, and mature players with unanswered questions--in short, anyone with a passion for the clarinet.
Visitors are welcome to contact
her for a consultation lesson or coaching session.
Among her former private students are principals in regional orchestras.
Her chamber music students now have careers such as first-chair
studio player, big band leader, crossover/indie recording artist
and early music soloist.
