Thursday, June 11 8PM --"An Evening of Clarinet Ensembles" Lyman Hall, Thatcher Music Center.
Premiere of Chuck Fernandez's "Circus Stroll" for clarinet choir plus Sammy Nestico's "A Study in Contrasts," Gordon Jacob's "The Wind in the Reeds", Andy Scott's "Paquito" with Lynne Snyder, soloist, Mancini's "The Pink Panther". Quartets including Ian Holloway's hilarious "Colonel Bogey Variations", Turkish, Klezmer and Latin American music. Ensemble of 12 participants plus guests Alex Sramek, Joel Kabakoff, Don Gross.Margaret Thornhill, Victoria Ramos, and Wendy Mazon, conductors.

Friday,June 12 8PM --Participant Recital, "Masterworks for Clarinet" Lyman Hall.
Participants David Beech, Christin Hablewitz, Nicolina Logan, Wendy Mazon, Victoria Ramos, Ann Satterfield, Lynne Snyder and Stephen White perform works by Schumann, Mendelssohn, Cahuzac, Seiber, Kibbe, Widor, Weber, Francaix and Guastavino.
Pianists Twyla Meyer and Althea Waites.

Saturday, June 13 8PM -- "20th Century Masters"Bridges Hall of Music.
Clarinetist and artistic director,Margaret Thornhill joins Pomona faculty cellist, Roger Lebow, and pianist Twyla Meyer in the west coast premiere of Daniel Schnyder's "A Friday Night in August: Trio for clarinet, cello and piano."
Participants perform: David Loeb "Sonata #1 for Bass clarinet solo", Willson Osborne"Rhapsody" for clarinet solo, Kovacs' "Hommage a Manuel De Falla", Debussy's "Premiere Rhapsodie", D'Rivera's "Vals Venezolana y Contradanza", sonatas by Hindemith, Poulenc, Horovitz, Howells.Pianist, Twyla Meyer.
